Accreditations
Omega Hospital is accredited by DNV’s Hospital Accreditation program. This accreditation recognizes that our hospital meets the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid standards as well as ISO 9001 Standards for the formation and implementation of a quality management system.

What is DNV?
What is ISO 9001?
What is NIAHO?
DNV GL’s accreditation program, called NIAHO® (Integrated Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), involves annual hospital surveys and encourages hospitals to openly share information across departments and to discover improvements in clinical workflows and safety protocols.
NIAHO® standards are directly related to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and apply to hospitals of all sizes. To focus efforts on the fundamental aspects of the Conditions of Participations, the standards are less prescriptive than the Joint Commission’s and the survey process supports CMS’ quality initiatives with focus on continual improvement prioritized by the organization and allows organizational innovation to determine the most effective means for compliance using best practices.
Compliance with DNV, NIAHO, and ISO 9001 guarantees that Omega is providing a safe environment and better care to our patients.
